ABOUT US
KC Health Collaborative
is a coalition of healthcare change-makers. We combine data and action to advance health equity and quality healthcare in the Kansas City region.
Incubated by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City in 2015, KC Health Collaborative was born out of a desire to improve health outcomes for all Kansas Citians, with a focus on historically underserved communities.
We connect patients, doctors, hospitals, insurance companies, and community-based organizations to improve the lives of those in our region affected by health inequities.
Through collective action, we are leveling the field for area residents.
KC Health Collaborative received its 501(c)(3) status in 2020, allowing us to formally develop new models of care to reimagine a healthcare system that works equitably for all.
With our members, we are creating strategic community alliances to improve healthcare delivery issues and the underlying social drivers of health that impact more than 80% of health outcomes.
Together, we
can break down healthcare silos
to jointly tackle healthcare delivery issues and social drivers of health.
Acting as a dynamic hub within our community, we uplift the work of our members and make connections that accelerate impact and help those most in need.
